Publicly Traded DeFi Development Corp. Adds Another $11.2 Million in Solana

Publicly traded AI-powered actual property software program firm DeFi Growth Corp. (previously Janover) added to its flurry of strategic Solana strikes Tuesday by saying that it bought one other $11.2 million price of SOL—at some point after it introduced the acquisition of a Solana validator firm. 

The agency’s newest buy added 82,405 SOL at a median value of $135.58, bringing its whole Solana holdings to greater than 400,000 tokens valued above $58 million.

On Monday, the agency introduced the acquisition of an unnamed Solana validator enterprise for $3.5 million, paid with $3 million in restricted DFDV inventory and $500,000 in money. The acquired community validators include a median delegated stake of round 500,000 SOL. 

“This acquisition doesn’t simply add a brand new line of protocol-native money circulation—it amplifies our alignment with the infrastructure underpinning tomorrow’s decentralized economic system,” the corporate’s CIO and COO Parker White stated in a press release.

“Proudly owning and working validators with important delegated stake places us on the core of Solana,” he added, “whereas furthering our mission of successfully accumulating SOL to ship superior risk-adjusted returns relative to holding SOL immediately.”

The agency’s alignment with crypto and Solana specifically has occurred quickly over the course of the final month.

In April, the corporate adopted its new digital assets treasury plan that permits it to build up crypto property with a long-term plan, beginning with Solana. After a number of SOL purchases, the agency modified its title from Janover to DeFi Growth Company to raised sign its commitment to crypto. 

Since that point, the corporate has introduced extra Solana purchases and creative financing solutions to speed up its treasury’s SOL stockpile. 

The agency trades publicly on the Nasdaq change underneath the ticker DFDV, having modified from JNVR on Monday. 

Shares had been up about 1% at shut Tuesday at a value of $72.74, rising over 1,700% within the final month.

Solana is down 0.5% within the final 24 hours to a value of about $146. The sixth-largest crypto asset by market cap sits about 50% off its January all-time excessive of $293.31.
