3DMark simply launched a model for macOS and they’re truly planning a Linux model.
What’s it? A software for benchmarking, testing, and evaluating PC efficiency. It is extremely widespread and definitely would make benchmarking and system comparisons simpler on Linux.
The excellent news is that within the feedback on Steam for the macOS launch put up, a developer confirmed “Linux model remains to be deliberate, however sadly we have no idea but when”. This is not the primary time they’ve mentioned so, with Linux assist talked about again in May 2024 with the discharge of the Metal Nomad benchmark.

Hopefully it will not be an excessive amount of longer.
At the least for stress testing now we have the recently released OCCT that is also coming to Steam. It is good to see extra corporations actively engaged on Linux assist for his or her apps. It is nice now we have plenty of video games now because of Proton, however Linux nonetheless must catch up in different areas like this.
