We’re hopefully not too far off the discharge of the brand new Steam Controller now, with Valve including a battery indicator for wi-fi gamepads. A really helpful characteristic, that I’m shocked wasn’t truly an official factor already.
Testing it out with my PowerA OPS controller, as soon as I swapped it into the Bluetooth mode, Steam now accurately shows a battery degree for it which is fairly nice (it did not work with the dongle).
From the Steam Shopper Beta changelog for April twenty fourth:
Normal
- Added a low battery degree toast for wi-fi gamepads
Huge Image Mode
- Added a battery indicator to the header for wi-fi gamepads
- Mounted concern with controller battery standing hyperlinks within the Fast Entry Menu not returning to the right place.
- Mounted a number of navigation points with controller settings.
macOS
- Mounted soundtrack playback not engaged on Apple Silicon machines.
The SteamOS / Steam Deck Beta consumer replace was the identical.
