Aspyr is dealing with growth and will probably be bringing again the 2004 title with improved graphics that can embrace 4k decision, up to date cutscenes and an enhanced UI.

Framerate was not talked about, though there’s probability it can help 60fps. That stated, there was point out of some points that pop up when the framerate is unlocked, like Fiona’s time-stop means lasting for much less time. Meaning Aspyr must do some additional work to ensure all the pieces runs correctly.

The sport’s enjoyable 4-player co-op is being expanded with on-line help, and the flexibility to combine native and on-line gamers.

There’s additionally going to be a photograph mode, and mentions of a cheat mode as effectively.

Shrek 2 launched at a time when film tie-in video games tended to be fairly shitty, but it surely was surprisingly good. It retells the story of the film (which is considered one of my favorite animated flicks) with gusto, and has some enjoyable character-swapping motion. With that stated, I’d hardly say it was something wonderful, which makes the remaster a bit stunning. Then once more, remasters are fairly straightforward to churn out as of late, and firms do love them some cash.

Shrek additionally briefly appeared in IGN’s teaser for the upcoming ID@Xbox Showcase, which it’s presenting with Xbox. He is still clearly visible in the teaser, so I suppose we are able to count on an official announcement on the occasion on October 20.

Presently, Xbox and PC are the one platforms we find out about.
