Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege is a badass wanting retro sport developed by Lillymo Video games (Tri Breaker, Tremendous Perils of Baking, Habroxia 2) and written by former IGN journalist turned podcaster Colin Moriarty.
“Saint Slayer is an NES-style 2D motion sport, that includes a great deal of levels, enemies, and gore set towards the backdrop of late-Seventeenth century Europe. Play because the ex-soldier Rudiger and wield the Spear of Sacrilege as you save the Holy Roman Empire from the corrupt Catholic priest Father Pacer,” says the blurb.
I admit to being biased right here: I hearken to Sacred Symbols, the podcast of Colin Moriarty, so I’ve been wanting ahead to making an attempt out Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege because it was introduced.
So, when can we get our grubby little mitts on it? April 20, for Xbox One, Xbox Collection S/X, PS4, PS5, Change, Change 2 and PC.
