BAFTA has introduced that Ilkka Paananen, the co-founder and CEO of Conflict of Clans developer Supercell, will obtain the BAFTA Fellowship on the upcoming BAFTA Sport Awards on April 17.
That is the best honor from BAFTA, and it’s bestowed upon individuals who have “pushed innovation, creativity, and constructive change within the display arts, together with video games, over the course of their profession.”
Paananen is getting the Fellowship for his work at Supercell, which he co-founded in 2010. The studio created Conflict of Clans, which is without doubt one of the hottest cellular video games of all time.
